Our Boston location is a ten minute walk from South Station. When you get to 249 A Street, come through the outside door and you will see the intercom on the left. Scroll through until you see ‘Headshots’ listed and then hit the yellow dial button. I will buzz you in, come on up to the third floor and turn left down the corridor (right out of the elevator). We are the last door on the left.

Who would have thought a photo session could be such a positive and therapeutic experience? Battling image issues as so many women do, I tend to be extremely insecure and critical having my photo taken. After two hours with Jo, not only was I having a blast, I felt more confident in myself and actually proud of my appearance. Thanks to Jo, the time flew as she meticulously set up lighting and angles until she felt conditions were pristine; all while providing coaching and relaxing cues to bring out the best in her subject. Thank you Jo, and not just for the amazing photos!
Jo is the best! Her close attention to all detail consideration for an individual’s goals are what an artist should look for when getting headshots and photos done. Twice I’ve already used her and have yet to be disappointed. And the charge compared to other photographers is practically a steal with anything you’re going for. I highly recommend Jo and her skills to all my friends who are artists in the NH and Boston area.

Marketing shots for social media
Katie Granville said “Jo has the patience of a saint and her work is wonderful! Our company was looking for marketing shots for our social media sites and were referred to Headshots. Jo was by far the easiest and most pleasant professional photographer we have worked with! She answered all questions and concerns, allowed us to take numerous shots until we were 100% happy with every aspect of the shot and her turnaround time was incredible! MAS Staffing is looking forward to working together with Jo and Headshots again in the future!”
“Jo photographed my wedding a few years ago. Her ability to find the perfect light and catch moments that would let us remember our special day is remarkable.”

Celebrity Shoot for Non-Profit Art School
I can’t say enough great things about working on this shoot with Joanne from Headshots Photography. We needed to shoot local celebrities to fit a print piece CharmLab was creating for the Kimball Jenkins School of Art Annual Fund “Why I Give”campaign. Our models varied from children to seven foot tall Luke Bonner and local politicians Byron Champlin, and Steve Duprey. The final brochure came out fantastic and the photos were of the highest quality. I plan to work with Joanne on all my future client projects. She made the sessions fun and relaxed which brought out the best of each and it shows in the photos.
